At Royalveg we are committed to the environment, sustainability and the development of the environment, betting on efficient agriculture and implementing new tools to achieve these objectives.
We continue with determination developing actions in search of a global sustainable agriculture being firm in this great commitment.
We continue to work hard to maintain environmental sustainability, reduce the use of water and energy consumption and, therefore, we constantly adapt our production process by carrying out the following actions:
1º.- Since October 2019, we have achieved that 100% of our packaging is reusable. Non-reusable single-use packaging, such as cardboard or plastic, is eliminated from our portfolio.
We have acquired our own park of plastic crates of more than 300,000 own folding boxes, which are incorporated into a logistics process of return, washing and disinfection to be reused continuously.
2º.- Drastic reduction in the application of phytosanitary products and water consumption.
Biotechnological control in our productions, as well as the installation of traps and other integrated control measures.
We are continuously installing humidity sensors in our farms that minimize the use of irrigation water.
3º.- 60% of our reservoirs are already fully covered, preventing the evaporation of the reservoir water, with the firm commitment to reach 100% by the year 2026
4º.- Photovoltaic installations on farms to provide them with a 100% renewable energy supply.
